CJC-1295 in this preparation is the no-DAC variant, also called modified GRF 1-29: a 30-amino acid analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone bearing four substitutions (D-Ala at position 2, Gln at 8, Ala at 15, Leu at 27) that reduce cleavage by dipeptidyl peptidase IV.
Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide, Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2, and an agonist at the ghrelin receptor GHSR-1a. The two peptides are present at 8mg each and were lyophilized together, so the mass ratio in the vial is fixed.
Mechanism of Action
CJC-1295 binds the growth hormone-releasing hormone receptor (GHRHR), a class B G protein-coupled receptor; Ipamorelin is an agonist at the ghrelin receptor GHSR-1a, a class A G protein-coupled receptor.
