KLOW is a co-lyophilized preparation of four separate peptides in one vial. The powder contains GHK-Cu (50mg), a copper-bound tripeptide; BPC-157 (10mg), a 15-amino acid sequence of gastric origin; TB-500 (10mg), the actin-binding fragment of Thymosin Beta-4; and KPV (10mg), the C-terminal tripeptide of alpha-MSH.
The copper coordination of the GHK-Cu component gives the lyophilized cake its characteristic blue color. Because the four peptides share a single vial, their mass ratio is fixed at the stated composition and the components are not separable after lyophilization.
Mechanism of Action
Each component has its own molecular target in cultured cells: GHK-Cu coordinates copper(II) ions, BPC-157 interacts with VEGFR2 signaling, TB-500 binds G-actin monomers, and KPV interacts with NF-kB signaling.
